the answer: Typically it is 3 months late a demand letter stating pay all or they will foreclose. 45 days after demand letter or breach letter the mortgage company can have their attorney serve foreclosure paperwork.  The foreclosure usually happens about 105 days after first missed payment. I was previously told my home would foreclose and be sold in May, the date was moved up to March, I don’t know why. I have been in touch with my mortgage company constantly. Now they ask for hardsip letter and other items, w2’s check stubs, etc.They said that the sell would be detained for now in order to try and work something out. Chase is my financial lender, are they legitimate and will the sell be stopped in order for me to work something out? I was unemployed but now me and 2 daughters in home are employed.

The previous dates you were told were not the actual dates they were projected foreclosure dates. In lenders systems until there is a date set with the foreclosure department the phone reps give an projected foreclosure date, which they fail to tell you because most do not know. After to foreclosure review your case is assigned an actual foreclosure date. You should have sent the workout package in the past.
