I bought my home back in 2006 and closed in January 2007. A few weeks prior to my foreclosure, my son who lives with me was hit by a drunk driver and totaled my vehicle. He was injured and out of work for nearly 1 year. I had purchased a car for my daughter and it was stolen from her job. A few weeks later she was in a severe car accident in a Enterprise Rent A Car which put her in intensive care for 3 days. She had to come and live with me and I was soon trying to support 4 people on my income alone. This caused me to continue to fall behind and it has been very difficult to try to catch up and stay caught up. I have finally got a job making more money but even though I am behind it has been very difficult to stay caught up.
Countrywide Mortgage is my Mortgage company for My first and 2nd mortgage. I need help stopping foreclosure with Countrywide we need help fighting foreclosure.

I am a real estate broker and my income has dropped drastically. I have borrowed money from the equity in my home but is is running out. I am not behind and would like to sell my home to stop foreclosure. I would like countrywide to waive my prepayment penalty, lower my principle to current market value and refinance my arm to a fixed low rate mortgage. I need to get out soon or I will also be facing foreclosure. I live next door to a countrywide foreclosed property and have been maintaining the exterior because it has affected the value of my home. I mow, weed, spray and trim and I’m tired of it. Countrywide should be paying me to maintain their property. If I don’t get some resolution soon, I will just walk away, It is senseless for me to keep paying the mortgage if I’ll lose the home in the end anyway. what can you do? My situation is getting worse. Countrywide is my lender and I have tried numerous times to speak with someone but to no avail. We need Countrywide foreclosure help.

I have had several health issues that have continued to cause a problem since we bought our home three years ago. These have caused increased bills, loss of income, etc. We can’t seem to get anyone from Countrywide to call back I wanted to try and workout some kind of mortgage adjustment or refince but we had to file for a Chapter 13 in November of 2006 so they won’t even consider it. Our rate has jumped from 7.4 to 12% and is set to jump again this month. Our original note was $1147.00 but has jumped to $1749. There is no way we can afford this. I have monthly medications I can’t afford let alone this note increase. If they would take the notes we are behind and place them at the end of our loan and place us back at a fixed 7.4% we could manage. Can you help? I guess the best thing to do may be to just sell but we have (3) houses for sell in our small 14 home subdivision and nothing is moving. I am willing to do whatever you suggest. At least if we were able to sell we could pay the house and the bankruptcy off and start living our lives again. Countrywide is the mortgage holder and they do not help.
