my bank is unwilling to help

my bank is unwilling to help find any other possible solutions-other than foreclosure. I had tried to keep the mortgage current, but they either refused my payments, or mailed the payments back to me-they said that I owed almost $1,300.00 in attorney’s fees, and that is what they are forclosing on. I went through a divorce in which I went from living with a $60,000+ annual income to living with an annual income well below the poverty level, then lost my job shortly after the divorce. Since then, I’ve been working and putting myself through school and plan to graduate with my registered nurse’s degree in the spring. I’ve been able to pay on my mortgage for almost a year now, but because I didn’t have $1,300 to pay off the attorney’s fees, my bank has decided to call in the total loan amount plus all attorney’s fees to date.
