Ocwen is foreclosing on me. I refinanced my home 5 years ago, after my son who was 24 died of brain cancer. I a single mother of 7 children and have been living here in my home for 24 years. I filed bankruptcy 2 times to keep my home. I had 2 jobs but I had some health issues and could not keep the second job. All I want is my home and lower payments that are more affordable. Now my credit is so poor that no one will refinance with me. I now have my boyfriend living with me, so he can help with more affordable payments. We are in foreclosure. The property is located in Florida. We are 7 months behind. We thought we had a refinance with our lender but just found out the paperwork was not completed and they are not going to refinance. My husbands middle credit score is 517 we were told we need $520,000 to pay all the prepays, arrears, and mortgage balance in order to refinance with our lender. The appraisal would come in at $575000-$600000. Income is there. If you can help us that is great. If you can not please let me know because I have to continue looking for options. I waited all these months thinking our mortgage company was helping us only now to find out they cant help us. The reason for foreclosure is. My husband became very ill and didn’t work for 8 months. I started working but can not pay the mortgage on my income alone. When I was able to save up money to pay the mortgage company it was too late and they wouldnt accept any payments.
