   My husband and i own a commercial cleaning company, my husband runs the company and i am a realtor. Due to the economy everyone is terminating our cleaning services, we\’ve now lost more than half our business and owe more than we are making on the company. We have been meeting with an attorney about filing bankruptsy due to the economy with the cleaning company. We just recently lost our biggest account which was 75% of our business. With that said, I’m a realtor working in this horrible market. My income will not support our mortgage any more. We owe 510,000 on the house. It is an interest option loan, so we have a choice of four payments. I was making the full 30year fixed payment the last six months, but now due to the cleaning company i will no longer be able to do that. I can not refinance because i’m lucky if the house is worth 400,000. We have a bank owned property in town the same size on 8.8 acres selling for 299,900. It has more features than my house and more land. So my only option is a short sale, loan modification or bankruptcy. Now, i see this everyday these loan modifications where they add to the bank end. I do not want that i would rather short sale it or bankruptcy. I see homeowners getting in worse situations than they already are in. If they would reduce my balance to 400-425 I could pay a full 30year fixed.
   Right now i’m current, but next month I will not be able to be current.
